Our Burnout Voices - Specialist Session

“My body has been trying to tell me” - A somatic approach to burnout

As women, we are often masters of "holding it together". We carry the projects, the households, and the worries, silently conditioning ourselves to push past our limits. We dismiss the tension locked in our shoulders or sudden digestive shifts, treating them as minor inconveniences.

Long before burnout crashes our lives, it whispers to us through our bodies. Unfortunately, many of us have lost the language of our own anatomy.

That is why we chose, for our 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, to turn our attention to what our bodies are trying to tell us and we are honored to welcome 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 Ana Maria Mitrofan
Together, we will explore how our bodies communicate stress, the physical signals we may overlook, and how developing body awareness can help us recognize and respond to burnout.

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 is a safe online space for women to find comfort in shared experiences because healing doesn't happen in isolation.
Every month, we alternate between 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 and 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to provide both solidarity and practical, specialist guidance.

If you are navigating burnout yourself, supporting someone else, or simply curious to learn more, you are so welcome.
This initiative exists to help us share our voices and 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞.
